We are already nearing yet another hump day! I have been busy making lots of cute gifts for birthdays that we have coming up and making plans for my own birthday and wedding anniversary. I have some really cute ideas running through my head of what I'm going to do for our first wedding anniversary next month that I can't wait to share with you!
These are a few of our pictures we took over the weekend as we visited my school I went to for Fashion design. I wanted to show Fred the beautiful gardens and campus before school started back and while we are still living close by. It was great to reminisce on the fun days spent here and even inspired me to pull out a few of my design text books and start working on some sketches again.
We are always at a loss for what to do when we have a free weekend, what do you guys normally do on free weekends?
Okay, so here goes the three things that you did not know about our family!
1. Fred and I have absolutely nothing in common accept that we both like Africa. I guess the saying is true that opposites attract cause we are total opposites but boy am I glad we are!! Two Virgos would not mix well together in this type of partnership... Fred is extremely patient if not the most patient person I know, He is always very cheerful and loves people and routines. I on the other hand, have a red hot temper and am very much lacking in the patience department, I thrive off alone time and spontaneity and am certainly not always cheerful. He is the jock, I am the artist. It's all a beautiful balance.
2.Today is our beautiful and sweet nieces 5th birthday! She is my only niece which means she gets all the spoiling ;) She is such a precious girl to me and I am so happy to be her aunt and her uncle Freddy loves being her uncle.
3. I have been researching a lot of the back to school fashion articles and am totally disappointed with the lack of clothes that actual college students would actually wear so I decided to make my own post of back to school fashion. I will hopefully have it pulled together this week so stay tuned!
Also, I got challenged to do the ice bucket for ALS so I have until 10 am tomorrow to make that happen! Check back to see my video and who I nominate next ;)
